This gorgeous crocheted afghan comes from an old 1970s pattern book that I bought on eBay called The Great Afghan Book by American School of Needlework. The pattern is called "Rainbow Ripple." I used scrap worsted weight yarn. The coordinator loved this one so much that she said she had to hang it on her quilt rack and look at it for a few days before delivering it. It's one of my favorites as well.
